Notably, it stands as the sole pasteurized Red Leicester cheese originating from the county of Leicestershire and has earned a place of distinction at Long Clawson Dairy. Rutland Red has garnered a multitude of awards, including three gold medals at the Global Cheese Awards and four gold medals, along with the Tesco Red Leicester Trophy, at the International Cheese Awards.
